Pimples - Know How You Got Them & How You Can Get Rid Of Them

Pimples may grow on you face, ears, armpits, chest, back, even on the bottoms. Do you know how you could get them and reduce them? If you are past the adolescence stage and still have the old scars on your face, Diamond Peel may help you too. Read on!

Ways that you can get pimples:

1. Too much stress or late nights. Or rotating shifts. This is usually unavoidable and you should take care to lessen them as much as possible.

2. Too much sweat will result in clogged pores, and hence more pimples. For example, motorbike riders who need to wear helmets or nurses who wear masks are prone to having pimples. Athletes are also prone have pimple outbreaks if they sweat too much.

3. You may get pimples by eating chilies, food that contains artificial flavourings and colourings, sweet food, deep fried food or drinking milk. Not everyone reacts in the same way to these food though, so you should determine if it helps to abstain from some of these.

4. Some pimple breakouts are due to hormone imbalance. Typically, pimples growing mostly on the lower part of the face are due to hormone imbalance. See a doctor if this happens as you may need to be on medication.

5. Pimples on the forehead can appear in students who tend to sleep during class as they will lay their forehead on their arms and sleep on the table. Those who always wear caps are also prone to have pimples on the forehead.

Besides looking out for these points, here are some general guidelines to follow:

1. Make sure you are clean. That includes all parts of your body that pimples may appear. Clogged pores are typically found in oily faces. Use a pH balanced cleanser twice a day to clean your face. Too much washing may dry your skin and worsen the situation.

2. If you wear make up, make sure you remove it thoroughly at the end of the day. Use makeup that does not clog your pores, and do not use oil-based makeup. Even suntan lotion that is too oily may increase the chance of pimple outbreak.

3. See a doctor if your situation is not improving, or if you have an inflammation or serious scarring on you skin. As the nature of your skin may not be the same as everyone, listening to a skin doctor's advice is the best advice I can give you. Make sure you look for a reputable one.

Further word on Diamond Peel:
Diamond Peel is getting more and more popular these days. It is a process by with a machine with micro diamond bits is used to remove dead skin cells using suction and rotational movements. The process takes approximately 15 minutes and it is relatively painless. With the use of beneficial products, it stimulates collagen and elastin production to further even out skin texture (great for old scars left on your face). It can also clean your pores and unclog oil build-up, eliminate whiteheads and blackheads, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and reduce the appearance of blemishes caused by sun damage.

You may see a slight improvement after only 1 session but Diamond Peel requires you to go through 5 to 10 cycles before you can see significant results. The price range is between S$50 to S$150 per session. Package rates are also available. Similarly, make sure you check out the reputation of several different clinics before you settle for one.

Diamond Peel, however, may not be suitable for people with warts, active weeping acne, active rosacea, active keloids, undiagnosed lesions, unstable diabetes, recent herpes outbreak or autoimmune system disorders. Check with your doctor if you are in doubt.
